Well I can say when our team riders travel they are well liked, not only for the good skimming skills but because they support and help the sport of skimboarding grow. Here is a picture of how popular the EOS team is. I love this picture!

This year the 2011 Skim City/Zap Boardwalk Blow Up brought much better waves, a whole lot more sunshine, and generally just a better contest than it’s predecessors. Skimboarders from around the world gathered to battle it out once again in order to establish the ever-changing ring of champions and top competitors. My set up: Holesom, randals and o’tang 4 president wheels… LOVE IT. The snow needs to melt already so I can dust my baby off and take it out for a dinner and a movie. Mean time peep this video to tide you over.

Lucas Gomes and Guilherme Vaz represented well in the first skim comp down south in the Rio Open. Gomes just edging out fellow EOS rider Vaz to take 1st.
