We were excited to sponsor the Collegiate Skim-Off this year as it brings out the best of the Florida Colleges and Universities. They had a total of 8 schools competing in this years comp that totaled 60 riders.

See… I told you so! This is my favorite longboard out of the 10 I own. Just the right amount of flex for a nice smooth ride and an amazing carving feel. An all around board that will put a smile on your face every time. Why not put this board under your feet already?

We are very excited to launch this new web site and hope that it will grow in the following years. We decided to start EOS Military as a way we can some how give back to those that give everything. We have  very close friends that have gone to Iraq, Afghanistan and currently serving in non – conflict areas like Japan, South Korea. Bottom line is not only are they putting their life on the line, they are also away from their loved ones. Heroes in my book, no doubt.

We started getting calls from Military personnel in different areas and it seemed we were always sending something to a base. So we decided to dedicated a brand new site to just our military.

We will donate $1 for every sale our site receives to the USA Cares foundation. This is a nonporfit organization run entirely by volunteers, which provides financial assistance to military families in need across America and around the globe, through their program “Share a Minute” USA Cares helps wounded warriors and families, helps prevent home foreclosures and evictions, and assists with many critical resources during financial crisis.

America is amazing and the people that put it on the line for it deserve our respect. In talking with my buddies of more that I could do, he told me this little treasure: Whenever you see the military, in airports, etc. stop and say hello and thank them. The first time I tried it, it was a little awkward on my part, but it became a very cool experience. I asked him where he was going and that I was honored to meet him. I wished him well and then we went about our business. The experience was totally worth the awkwardness I felt at the beginning. Ok hopefully that wasn’t too cheesy for y’all. Once in awhile you have to throw in some cheese to mix it up. Check out the site, its sick.

At EOS we are always trying to bring you the latest in longboarding. We are huge fans of the mag Concrete Wave – that for sure keeps us in tune with what is good and what is sub par.  We came across a couple board companies that we had to have so we went out an got ‘em for you guys.

Honey Longboards: We were in search of longboard company besides Kahuna that has a sweet natural look to the board. Honey has a deverse line up so check em out !

Koastal Longboards: Deverse line up with a natural look to their boards. They have some sweet cruisers 47″ baby.

EastSide Longboards: Sweet shapes including some drop thru that you need to get for your speeding pleasure.

Up and coming 13 year old Blair Conklin battled it out this past weekend in the annual Green Eggs & Am competition in Laguna Beach, CA. The competition was seperated into two divisions: Intermediate and Advanced. No age groups just those divisions. Oh so you think you took fourth in the intermediate division… nope, That would be the advanced division. Blair took on the big boys and was just landing something big away from clinching the top spot. Don’t worry, Blair cashed in for getting the BEST WAVE at the event, taking home 100 bones in cash money. Good work Blair and thanks for repping EOS!

We love that our team rider is such a great embassador to skimming and for EOS. Hillary Clinton needs to take notes on how its done over seas.  I love the reaction the locals have. They have no idea what Paulo can really do.

Jasmine, one of the most positive skimmers out there. We love being around her and many other skimmers do to. She is a contiguous  influence in the skim world. Did we mention she writes for ForeverSkim? Yea make sure you check out her stuff to keep in touch so that you know what is going on in Hawaii!

Corey, a up and comer in the grom world. Corey will be bringing home the prize for EOS for years to come. This kid shreds.

Banshee Bungee the inovator and all board sports have added the URBAN ASSAULT to their line up of bungees. Banshee has created a new angle for any board sport. Basically if you want to be launched on a board (skateboard, longboard, snowboard, skimboard) you need to buy a bungee. We added some sick lines this week for your pleasure only. Honey Skateboards, which have a sweet natural look to them. They have a great line up to the minis/pool boards to the drop thru trucks. If you are in the market for a board that has a natural wood look to them that will ride good, this is your ride.

Also we added stoke international apparel to the site. One of our riders and president of the FSU skim club spotted this company last year at the surf expo in Florida. She had to have em, so we checked out the company and they are legit. Their designs will blow your mind.
